They say life slips away faster as you get older. But I’m only 31! I blink and an entire month disappears. The holidays are here and I just want to pull back and enjoy it but I see in my horizon how rushed I will feel.
I swear just yesterday it was summer. Tomorrow, will it be spring all of a sudden? This week is Thanksgiving but I’m already into Christmas. I put up our tree and decorations already.
The difference between how I did things post pregnancy with Dax and now with Troy is eye opening. I’m harried sometimes but I have more confidence and am more laid back. I’ve learned how important it is not to stop doing things for yourself.
Hair. Do it. I went lighter and I love the change. I waited four months with Dax.
Main/pedi. A must! Nothing is better than feet soaking in warm water and your hands massaged. Make it a regular thing. You need that time to just sit and do nothing.
Let your mother-law-take the baby. Dax spends a whole day with Nana and loves it. I get to catch up on work, errands and spend some precious hours with Troy. Sometimes with a first baby you think no one is capable of taking care of your little one but you. But now? I don’t hesitate to share!
Talking about time out for yourself, I saw this dress and just loved it! It’s such a gorgeous color, so feminine, is perfectly nurse friendly and 40% off. Sometimes, new clothes takes the mommy out of you and makes you feel “you”.
