Labor Day’s significance seems all but forgotten. We know it’s always on the first Monday of September. It’s the last three day weekend of summer to get away before the serious business of school, fall and cold weather. But most of us might have forgotten the holiday commemorates and celebrates workers throughout history and today, who have built America and made our nation strong.
one of the busiest retail shopping days second only to Black Friday. Even though more Americans work in the retail industry than any other, they don’t get the day off!!!
I’m grateful for the retail industry. For shops that sell gorgeous clothes and shoes for me to buy at Labor Day Weekend sales! I support them gladly and maybe a little too much throughout the year but it’s the least I can do. I want to support our wonderful country’s economy in style!
