Our lives revolve around tech.
This weekend I spent some time in Zion National Park. Beautiful, quiet and serene.
But, YIKES!
My service was partly out of range. Trying to refresh my social media feeds and check my email was hijacking my nerves. We forget how chronic our phone use is and how empty we feel if we are deprived of our access to the world.
Enough of these scary thoughts!
Back to good things! I love the PhotoShop App for my iPhone. PhotoShopping on the run. Who would have thought? Maybe once upon a time, who would have thought of shopping for anything on the run? (Like clothes maybe?)
The app is called PSEXPRESS on iTunes. It’s fun and easy to use.
Here is the before and after shot at the top of Observation point in Zion National Park.
We were 1,000 feet above Angels Landing.
Now check this out. Looks great, all done on my iPhone.
I can shop it then post it or send it to friends. IF, that is, I have service.
Lululemon.
Cute name, don’t you think? Considering I love lemons this was a match made in Heaven.
I’ve been craving these pants from Lululemon for a long time, which is forever in Alia speak.
Last year I traveled with a friend who owned a pair. She raved they were the most comfortable pants she had ever worn.
Really? Come on…can something be THAT comfortable and look that cool? I can’t wear most of my comfy clothes in public.
Okay. I went to the store and tried them on. Bad choice. As soon as that thick waist band wrapped around my hips I uttered a small swear word. (Four letter words are very small, right?) Those pants were going to walk out the door with me, though I knew I was surely going to hell. I’m not even going to tell you the three digit number that stared back at me.
I wore them to Zion National Park and yes, they’ll be my own traveling pants. I’ll wear them wherever I go. For the dollars they better not wear out anytime soon. I plan on going for several more decades.
For me, Queen of never buying anything full price, this was pretty extravagant. So, if I broke down and bought them they must be excellent. I would break down anyway if I hadn’t. I’m waiting by the dryer so I can wear them again.
Thanks for reading!
