It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Thanksgiving dinner is one of my favorites!
This year dinner is on MY terms. The turkey is actually the least of my concerns.
THE SIDES! They are most important!
Here is my line up this week for the big meal:
Sweet Potato Casserole
A MUST, is sweet potato casserole, with mini marshmallows.
This has been a staple in my life. It can not be replaced
You saw in my previous post, I made these for the 1st time.
I am making them with fresh rosemary this week. I love that I can make these the night before and not stress the day of!
This is Mr. P’s favorite. This will be my 1st time making it.
I hope I don’t mess it up. Though the recipe looks very easy
You cannot have a big feast like Thanksgiving without homemade rolls.
Future Bro-in Law is in charge of these, I am hopeful to taste his skills.
I got the following two ideas from this darling blog Freutcake
I will make a drink very similar to this one, no alcohol though!
I already made these..DE-LI-CIOUS
Everyone at the party loved them! Cannot wait to make them again!
Recipe Here: MINI PIES
I like that about half of what I am making can be made the day before so that I can just pop in the oven when needed. I hate stressing about the items that take ALL day to make, then cook. This will be a fun experience. I love to cook so I am happy to be able to share this meal with more than one other person.
What is your thanksgiving staple? Are you making anything new this year?
